A “Bread” music-only playlist popped up in my YouTube feeds and it was a very welcomed break from all of the panic-inducing noise that has been popping up into my social media/podcasting feeds lately. So, I thought that I’d find some concert recording that I could share instead of the playlist because if you’re going to “watch” a video it might be more entertaining if there was something to look at instead of a static list of the songs in the playlist. I get that this music is a world away from what anyone under the age of 70 might listen to (I almost wrote “on the radio”… but, hell, even I don’t listen to the radio… ha!).

Over the last couple of weeks I’ve been working through journal entries that I’ve written in previous decades (currently “enjoying” the pain and idiocy portrayed in my 1993 journals), and I’ll usually play music in the background that reminds me of that era. Bread doesn’t really fit, being the soundtrack that I associate with my first girlfriend, Lynn, from the mid-1970s, but its sentimentality is a nice change of pace.

Speaking of changes… you might have noticed a drop in long blog articles lately, that’s because I’m spending most of my time working through the journal project, mentioned above, which is part of longer format projects that I’m working on. So, lately I’ve been posting articles on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. And I’m going to swap the Monday/Wednesday line-up, which means my “Short Stories”/Writer’s Reflections stuff will move to Wednesday and my Crash Course Religions reflections will move to Mondays. Video Fridays will continue as usual. And I’ll post shorter stuff whenever. And if when this stuff pops up on your feeds, if you could click the link in the comments that goes directly to the blog post (which you’d have to have done, if you’re reading these words or watched the video(s)). While on the blog page, if you could click in the box right next to the red PLEASE SUBSCRIBE button and add your email address and then press the red button, then you will get my posts in your email inbox and never have to click anything to read the whole article or worry that the FB or other algorithm has prevented you from seeing my work. I’d really appreciate it. TIA.

Here’s a bonus video that popped up that I also needed to hear/see. Have a wonderful weekend, y’all.
