LEGO Police Station MOC “Done”

I started working on this “My Own Creation” (MOC) LEGO project eight days ago using parts from a Spider-Man set (the ground floor bodega on the left), Corner Kiosk “Gift with Purchase” (GWP) (the news stand on the right), a newer Police Station set (for the barred windows and doors, police minifigs, walkie-talkies, etc.) and parts from my own inventory (lots of white modified brick and grey brick). LEGO has the building instructions for their now retired police station modular (LEGO set 10278) available online and downloadable in PDF form. I used those instructions as the basis for this MOC, adjusting sizes to fit the Kiosk on the right, and making the bodega building on the left deeper. I also eliminated the apartment on the second floor of the bodega from the original plans, to make room for a larger working space for the police station, added a second holding cell to the second floor and update all of the technology to include desktop computers and no typewriters or desk phones. Oh, and my city really needed a market more than a donut shop, so the donut shop from the original plans became the bodega. So this part of the build is done and now I need to order all of the missing parts that I didn’t have in my inventory or from the set that I used for the build. All of the odd colored parts that you can see in the image are where the missing parts will be added. There will also be a set of white columns, similar to what’s on the first floor, repeated on the second and third floor. The roof and front of the second floor room on the right is also missing and the facade on the top floor is incomplete. It’s now time to order parts and wait the four weeks that it’ll take for them to arrive (or longer). More images and the Timelapse videos will be posted when the project is more complete. Time to get back to work.
