This one popped up in my feeds:

One respondent commented that the switch between cursive and block handwriting was more about how fast one was writing and not some psychological defect.
My response was that none of the theories seem to take into account that they stopped teaching handwriting or penmanship back in the 1990s, over thirty years ago. So if one is going to even bother with pen and paper, it’s highly unlikely to have any “cursive” in the traditional sense. And then there are us left-handers, who are going to use whatever style suits the moment, usually block lettering if we’re intending others to read the message, then some kind of scrawl if the message is private and not meant for public consumption… which a bit like the argument about switching “styles” of writing is about speed and not “evil intent.”
What do you think? Is how often to you encounter handwritten notes, or think that people who have no consistent “style” are “damaged”?
