I would expect that kind of headline from parody/comedy website, The Onion, but in this case, it’s an actual real news story. On a day that was getting weirder and weirder as someone was loading up their clown car, I really needed this kind of news. At least one person is getting to pay for spreading lies as “news.” It also may help the Onion survive a second Trump term, given how difficult it was becoming for them last time when reality was so unbelievably ridiculous (for example, for those with memory issues, there was that COVID press conference during which the “Stable Genius” suggested injecting bleach to kill the virus…). So, now they have the “InfoWars” platform to tell whatever stories they choose. That’s one bit of good news, that I needed to hear today.
