This one popped in my feed. I’m sure during the upcoming debates that the spray-tanned felon will spout some lie about all the jobs being stolen by those illegal aliens who are going to vote for Harris. Yeah, according to the person in this video, he’d love to hire U.S. citizens to work on his farm, but they don’t show up. So, his company fills out all the paperwork needed to legally hire non-citizens to do the work that needs to be done and he’s thankful for the work that they do. Being one-generation removed from spending my summers working the harvest in Northern California (meaning that my parents’ families, who moved here legally, were part of the seasonal migrant agricultural workforce), I’m thankful for the sacrifices my family made so that my siblings and I could grow up and have the opportunities we found in Southern California in the 1960s and 70s. I find it criminal that whatever is wrong with our society is being blamed on people not lucky enough to have been born in this country, but are willing to come here and do the work that others won’t do. Granted, those making this false claim have no idea what the words “sacrifice” and “hard work” even mean. I’m so tired of this bullshit and constant whining. We can do so much better than this.
