A very sweet story, that seems to be marketed to kids with its 12-year-old protagonist. But it’s really about the importance of hanging onto our imagination (and imaginary friends) even long after we think that we don’t need it or them because we’ve “grown up.” I’m a bit doubtful that that message will make sense to most kids, but it made this 65-year-old kid tear up. I’d also recommend staying for the post-credit tribute to Louis Gossett, Jr. 👍👍👍
