When someone asks how I’m doing I should probably just show them a picture of me standing in front of a LEGO store. If they understand, cool 👍, if not, too bad for them. I keep remembering my former administrator, during my exit interview, saying that I was going to be bored (not teaching). Not even close.
LEGO. had a huge product release today and the guy checking out my purchases said that the line when they opened their doors this morning was wrapped down the hall. And the store was still packed when I ventured there six hours later. But I didn’t have to wait in a line to get in and I wasn’t there to buy any of the new releases (although the Birthday Numbers might be a new release…). Anyway, I got the giant T-Rex, that’s been out for several months as an early birthday gift to myself 😎. The website said that they were out of stock, so that was a surprise purchase. And the Friends Hospital set, I saw the other day, and also found a MOC where I can make it into a much needed medical clinic for my small city. Happy LEGO Nerd here. So, I’m kind’a stocked up for some LEGO building as the temps go through the roof here in Las Vegas. 😅
