To keep yesterday’s post about consciousness going… while I was researching the Consciousness (and whether human individualism was a bug) I found the following three videos that explored consciousness, intelligence and A.I. What follows follows a much more accepted understanding of the evolutionary processes that brought about what we call consciousness.. and it’s very visual. These videos take a huge step away from the “Consciousness is Everywhere” approach in yesterday’s video. But I am reminded, watching these videos of two things:
- That the investment in Intelligence always is in keeping with the species “plan” on how to be successful and survive and
- Remembering that what might be called superior Intelligence isn’t the only factor by which species survive and avoid extinction.
