The little girls asks, “Did you run away from home?” knowing that something is wrong with the young woman and not yet having learned to how to tamp down her empathy or not share her concerns with this stranger. It’s always a big risk to put yourself out there, but sometimes, when you’ve reached the end of everything you make a small connection that restores your soul. Please take a moment to remember why the journey is worth the effort and the good that we’ve had along the way. Enjoy.
