Wonderful visual time-capsule of late 1970s paranoia and suspense cinema. It was great to see on the big screen at the Beverly Theater with a roomful fans and my movie buddy, Debra, who spent a number of years in San Francisco around the time this film came out. Loved seeing young Jeff Goldblum, not taking things in stride and Veronica Cartwright, playing his “plants have feelings too” back to nature wife. Donald Sutherland, Brook Adams & Leonard Nimoy round out the cast, with the first two running for their lives and being a little too trusting and a little too slow putting things together. Whatever you do, don’t fall asleep, ‘cause that’s when they replace you.
