I went to an anniversary screening of this sci-fi classic with my buddy, Deb, at an IMAX theater. It was a lovely trip to the late 1970s… especially the wardrobe and the cars… lots of station wagons… amazing storytelling. The early day in the life “family scenes” were loud and hectic and I can’t imagine living in a small suburban home where everyone is yelling at each other and the place is in complete chaos and looks poorly kept. Yikes
