I love story and the power of human narrative. I believe that our consciousness is based on narrative (just a pet theory…). I believe it is powerful and on some levels essential, but your narrative is your narrative and not meant to control or subjugate others. That’s why we need other ways of understanding Reality, such as the sciences. One does not eliminate the other, just gives it its proper place. Science is also essential. But our narratives give us meaning. Happy birthday to me, y’all… 😎
